Robusta is grown in the low-altitude areas of Central, Eastern, Western, and South Eastern Uganda up to 1,200 meters above sea level.
Arabica is grown in the highland areas on the slopes of Mount Elgon in the Eastern region, Mount Rwenzori in the western and Mount Muhabura in the southwestern region (1,500-2,300 above sea level).
Arabica and Robusta are grown at a ratio of 1:4
